I don’t know about you, but I’ve always had this idea that people who wake up 5am have really got their lives in order.

The problem is, there’s a lot of people online who encourage us to wake up at 5am for all the wrong reasons.

Whether it’s because it could “make you successful” or “add more hours to your day”, it’s important to be sceptical about what they’re actually claiming.

With a breakdown of scientific literature, I explain why it’s not a good idea to lose sleep in order to wake up early and why it probably won’t ‘make you successful’.
