I Changed This Newsletter

Notice something different?

Iā€™ve rebranded my newsletter!

From here on out, itā€™ll be called ā€˜šŸ‹Life Lemonsā€™ rather than the old ā€˜Faisalā€™s newsletterā€™.

And I thought Iā€™d share my thought processes behind the change:

Community

I started this newsletter for several reasons (read here), one of which was to help develop a personal brand.

So, it made sense to call it something simple and straight to the point: ā€˜Faisalā€™s newsletterā€™.

After all, I couldnā€™t think of anything smarter and I just wanted to get started.

Over the last 7-8 months, I started to feel that the topics meant a lot more to people than the condensed articles Iā€™d send out every week.

The feedback and involvement I get from you is all so humbling, I couldnā€™t help but plan a rebrand.

So, I wanted to remove the personal brand name and introduce a theme that every reader could relate to, one that felt a bit more inclusive.

I wanted to create a community who wish to think better, work smarter and design better lifestyles.

šŸ‹Life Lemons

We all the know the popular phrase: ā€˜When life gives you lemons, make lemonadeā€™.

Well, that kinda summarises what this newsletter is all about - squeezing the juice out of life and making lemonade.

And yes, it also sounds a lot like ā€˜life lessonsā€™.

So, there you have it.

Every week, Iā€™ll continue to deliver you Life lemons and together, #LetsMakeLemonade.

If youā€™re a fan of the new name, hit to this email and send me a šŸ‹ !

šŸ”— The Weekly Link-Up

Links to things Iā€™ve enjoyed this week and think you might enjoy too:

  1. I listened to The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. Itā€™s been highly recommended by some of my favourite authors, including Seth Godin. It started off with real moments of clarity, although some of the later chapters I did find a little odd.

  2. Iā€™m currently listening to Content Inc by Joe Pulizzi, itā€™s amazing so far. Itā€™s a book about content marketing and how brands should build audiences rather than simply try to sell products. To think it was written in 2015, crazy!
