I Changed This Newsletter

Notice something different?

I’ve rebranded my newsletter!

From here on out, it’ll be called ā€˜šŸ‹Life Lemons’ rather than the old ā€˜Faisal’s newsletter’.

And I thought I’d share my thought processes behind the change:

Community

I started this newsletter for several reasons (read here), one of which was to help develop a personal brand.

So, it made sense to call it something simple and straight to the point: ā€˜Faisal’s newsletter’.

After all, I couldn’t think of anything smarter and I just wanted to get started.

Over the last 7-8 months, I started to feel that the topics meant a lot more to people than the condensed articles I’d send out every week.

The feedback and involvement I get from you is all so humbling, I couldn’t help but plan a rebrand.

So, I wanted to remove the personal brand name and introduce a theme that every reader could relate to, one that felt a bit more inclusive.

I wanted to create a community who wish to think better, work smarter and design better lifestyles.

šŸ‹Life Lemons

We all the know the popular phrase: ā€˜When life gives you lemons, make lemonade’.

Well, that kinda summarises what this newsletter is all about - squeezing the juice out of life and making lemonade.

And yes, it also sounds a lot like ā€˜life lessons’.

So, there you have it.

Every week, I’ll continue to deliver you Life lemons and together, #LetsMakeLemonade.

If you’re a fan of the new name, hit to this email and send me a šŸ‹ !

šŸ”— The Weekly Link-Up

Links to things I’ve enjoyed this week and think you might enjoy too:

  1. I listened to The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. It’s been highly recommended by some of my favourite authors, including Seth Godin. It started off with real moments of clarity, although some of the later chapters I did find a little odd.

  2. I’m currently listening to Content Inc by Joe Pulizzi, it’s amazing so far. It’s a book about content marketing and how brands should build audiences rather than simply try to sell products. To think it was written in 2015, crazy!
