Exposing Kyoto on Film.

Yes, I missed focus. But I share my Ls too.

Hey guys,

There’s something that you experience in Kyoto that you just don’t get in Tokyo.

It’s the tranquility in the gardens outside Kinkakuji temple.

It’s the awe of being surrounded by bamboo groves in Arashiyama.

The Geisha’s walking the streets along Kamo river.

And the thousands of torii gates which never seem to reach an end.

So it was a shame that my 35mm film pictures came out a bit disappointing on this trip.

Nonetheless, in my latest YouTube video, I explore what it means to have a good moment captured, rather than focussing on just the picture itself.

And there was no better place to have this realisation, than in Kyoto.

It’s up on YouTube now - I'll see you over there ✌️
